KNOTS & Natural Imperfections

Imperfections and variations in the woodgrain are part of a natural product. Knots are formed when a branch grows from the trunk and the wood grows around it. Mineral streaks, dark lines, burls, and grain variations add depth and character to the appearance of the cabinetry.

Color Variations

Rustic woods may have fewer knots with more color variations and streaking. Each piece of wood will have unique rustic characteristics. Due to the variations in the wood, some panels, moldings, skins, and other cabinet components may be clear while others are not.
