Our Process

Step 1: Schedule An Appointment

Are you ready to get started? Take our online Get Started quiz as a starting point so we understand your project needs. Then, our scheduler will contact you to gather additional information and begin the process of coordinating an appointment.

Step 2: In Person Meeting

We love meeting new people! This meeting determines how we can suit your needs and discuss the project's scope, budget, & design. Consultations allow us to introduce ourselves to you, the client, and the opportunity to learn about each other. Therefore, ensuring we can provide you with the services you need. The initial consultation is free of charge.

Step 3: Initial Design

After the initial meeting, we will create version (1) one design based on the information discussed in the in-person appointment. We highly encourage our clients to take ample time to review and assess their initial design proposals. Your designer will be there every step of the way to help you navigate your cabinet journey!

Step 4: Design Review

Your design representative will schedule a review discussion to examine the initial design. The purpose of the follow-up meeting is to assess the design scope and fine-tune specific cabinetry needs. We find this type of practical approach keeps projects on track and provides clear direction on layout, functionality, and priorities. After this meeting, your designer will update you throughout the process.

Step 5: Finalize Designs

This phase may include additional discussions, frequent email correspondence, and orders. If cabinet designing happens during a construction project, an introduction to the contractor is required. Open communication between all parties establishes a clear line of communication so that High Country Cabinets are apprised of the construction schedule. This is important to ensure cabinetry installation goes as smoothly as possible.

Cabinetry Lead Times:

Our cabinetry lines are furniture grade with soft close doors/drawers and professionally designed to suit your space(s). In an effort to be transparent with new job inquiries, the average lead time for these vendors is variable and can range between 8 to 15 weeks (depending on the manufacturer, wood, and chosen finish). These timelines begin from the time of final design approval.

Due to the current supply chain challenges, this time frame is subject to change without advanced notice.

Are you a general contractor? A designer or affiliated with a design firm? Are you building commercial properties or multi-unit residential housing?
